Rick is the senior broker, heading a great team of general insurance specialists handling risks from homes and cars, through to business packages and liability for underground mining contractors. He also specialises in personal risk Insurance, able to tailor Life Insurance, Trauma and Income Protection packages with access to companies such as Onepath, AIA, TAL and MLC. Rick enjoys this work and gains a great deal of satisfaction from it.

BACKGROUND: Rick commenced in the insurance industry in 1983 as an agent for Suncorp. Sarina Insurance & Financial Services joined the Ausure Insurance Brokers group as an Authorised Representative in December 2009 and is now able to insure “almost anything” through the brokerage. QUALIFICATIONS: Rick holds a Diploma from The Australian Insurance Institute, achieved a Diploma in Planning in 2004, is a Tier 1 accredited Insurance Broker and completed a Diploma in Insurance Broking in March 2015.

INTERESTS: Beside my beautiful wife Barbara and son Frazer, I like holidays. Covid has made that impossible recently; but hoping to travel in 2023 and beyond. Rick and his son Frazer are members of the local shooting club and attend pistol shoots regularly, a pastime they thoroughly enjoy. Rick and family are also kept busy with the family grazing property, breeding Brahman cross cattle.
